What happens to folders in Outlook Express and Windows Mail?
Synchronization of folders and subfolders other than Inbox and Outbox is not supported.

What happens to folders in Address Book and Windows Contacts?
All contacts in all folders are synchronized. New contacts from the mobile device are created in the default folder.

What happens to subscribed calendars and non-default calendars in Windows Calendar?
All calendars (including subscribed, read only calendars) are synchronized by default. Subscribed calendars are “read-only” in Windows Calendar, therefore changes and deletions made on the mobile device are not synchronized back to the desktop / notebook PC.

Is there any limitation in the synchronization of Inbox messages?
With Microsoft Outlook Express / Windows Mail it is possible to read and compose HTML messages. With SyncExpress, HTML messages are supported on Windows Mobile 6 or later devices only; on Windows Mobile 5, HTML messages will be transferred as plain text messages. Images and formatting are lost in the conversion.
Messages in mobile device Outbox folder are moved to Microsoft Outlook Express Outbox folder. If there are multiple email accounts, the default account is used to send the message.
HTML (such as Hotmail, Yahoo or MSN) and IMAP accounts cannot be synchronized; however, you can manually copy to the local Inbox the  message(s) you want synchronized.

Is there any limitation in the synchronization of Contacts / Appointments /Tasks?
Fields available in Pocket Outlook Contacts, Calendar and Tasks and those in Address Book, Windows Contacts or Windows Calendar do not match perfectly. The SyncExpress 4 user's guide includes a table with the field mapping between desktop and mobile device applications.

What happens to file attachments in my messages?
To save space on the device, by default SyncExpress does not copy file attachments; select "Mark for download" in Pocket Inbox to download file attachments. You can change the Outlook Express / Windows Mail synchronization settings and enable file attachments synchronization.

I can only see a few messages (or no messages at all) in my Pocket Outlook Inbox folder. Why?
1) Check if Message synchronization is enabled.
In ActiveSync, open Tools menu and select "Options..." item. Look for Outlook Express item and make sure it is checked.
In Windows Mobile Device Center, click Mobile Device Settings then click Change Content Sync Settings. Look for Windows Mail and make sure it is checked.
2) Change filter options for messages.
By default, only messages delivered in the last 3 days are synchronized. To change this value:
In ActiveSync: click “Tools” and select “Options…”; in the options window select Outlook Express and click “Settings…”.
In Windows Mobile Device Center: click “Mobile Device Dettings”, then click “Change content sync settings”; in the Change content sync settings pane, click the “Sync settings” link under the Windows Mail label.

How do I get rid of a popup window asking me if I really want to send the message?
The pop-up window asking if you really want to send the message is a security feature. It prevents malicious programs or viruses to send emails from your account without your knowledge.
To enable or disable this functionality, open Outlook Express or Windows Mail, click Tools then select Options, click on Security tab and check / uncheck "Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me".

What about Outlook Express and Address Book Identities?
Address Book: only current identity contacts are synchronized.
In Outlook Express, each Identity stores all e-mails in separate folders; the folder is different for each Identity. SyncExpress synchronizes the Inbox folder belonging to the Identity that has been selected as "default when a program cannot ask you to choose an Identity". This option is available in Outlook Express under File | Identities > | Manage Identities... and is the last drop-down list in the dialog box. If you change this option, all synchronized messages in the device will be deleted and replaced with messages in the Inbox folder of the new Identity.
